Happy, Happy!
On to the celebrations!
First of all we have the dear leader of our EtsyBloggers group, Joey & Aleethea. She can't have a mini for her birthday because her shop is temporarily closed. It has something to do with 2 children, a dog, a job change and a move to a new state and new home. You can stop by her blog to wish her happy birthday though. Just go right here.
Other birthday wishes go out to the shop Motley Boutique.
Happy birthday from all of us to you both!
Etsy Bloggers April 27 Edition
You can read it at Athena Workman's blog HERE.
The topics the members were to write about were:
1. Now that spring has sprung, it's planting time. If you're into gardening, what would your dream garden look like? What flowers/bulbs/herbs would you plant? What about garden doodads or statues?
2. Your Own Space: describe your dream studio (or if you already have one, give details!). Decorating, supplies you wish you had, size, etc.
Head on over there and check out what our members had to say.

Mini Monday - Tilt Creations
Today I would like to show you Tilt Creations. This is a busy mom from Oak Park Michigan.
To introduce herself in her Etsy Profile she tell us this-
I am a stay at home mom of a 13 and 3 year old boy. It makes life rather interesting! I sew and create whenever possible. I have been sewing and crafting for years and now enjoy sharing them with others. My creations are all made by me, by hand. Please take your time and browse around.
Browsing is certainly easy in a shop filled with purses, totes and keyrings. These are just the kind of accessories we need and use everyday and while we are at it they should be beautiful too. Take a look-
After shopping or even before, you will want to stop by the blog Crafts, Kids, Home and Life. The title says it all. The blog generously shares the work of other artists, Etsy and other venues, the groups she is involved with, and all that being a mom and running a household involves.
Go ahead check it all out and tell her the EtsyBloggers sent you!

Mini Monday for Lost Mitten
My name is Lauren and I create everything at Lost Mitten out of my home in Ontario, Canada. I love crafting and creating new items for myself, my fiance, Paul, and for my online shop. I am a huge video game addict; I have loved games ever since my family got our very first computer when I was four years old, and our first Nintendo Entertainment System when I was six. In my creations, I have combined this love for video games and crafting in many of the items that I make, including my pixelated Perler Bead Nintendo crafts.
I also love to knit - knitting is my favorite way to relax and unwind at the end of a busy day. I like to knit all sorts of things for myself and Paul, including sweaters, bags, hats, socks, and gloves. You will find some of my knitware up for sale in my shop. I also love to make things out of Japanese Chiyogami paper and any kind of kawaii (cute) note paper or fabric from Japan that I can get my hands on!
Aside from crafting, I love music - I have played the piano since I was four years old. I also play the guitar, bass, and the clarinet. I have been a vegetarian all of my life, I love animals (especially cats!), and I am an advocate for animal rights. I love to travel as much as possible - even though I have only travelled throughout Canada, the U.S., and many parts of the Caribbean, I hope to travel all over the world someday! I also love to work out at the gym, especially participating in the yoga classes.
To keep more up to date with the happenings of one of Etsy's top sellers follow along with her writings in the Lost Mitten Blog.
