Mini Monday - Colorful Dayz

Kelly King is the artist behind the Etsy shop Colorful Dayz. The shop opened in 2007 with a wonderful, whimsical array of original watercolors and prints. She also sews and uses fabric combinations in pillows, card cases and envelopes that are bright and pleasing to the eyes. The following is how she introduces herself in her Etsy shop profile-

A gypsy soul that has been creating since I was old enough to thread a needle. I love my child, my husband, dogs, travelling, riding motorcycles, and doodling, painting, gluing, altering and/or sewing on anything that doesn't run away from me.

She chronicles her life in southern Utah in a blog that covers family, friends, art and her home state. The blog is an enjoyable reading experience with just the right blend of business, art and personal topics. Scottie Acres Mini Monday!

Today we are proud to tell you about this always cheerful, active, and busy member of the EtsyBloggers Street Team. I am talking about the woman behind the shop Scottie Acres. From a home in Wisconsin she has been a seller on Etsy since December 2007. From her shop profile you get a look at what drives her creativity.

I love to sew and crochet and at times do other creative things. I search high and low for Scottie themed fabrics and you will find that most items that I create have Scotties in them somewhere! I love color be it pastel or brilliant. If you see something you like but it is the wrong color just contact me and I will see if I can do a special order for you. Come back and see me often as I will be adding new things on a regular basis!

I will ship internationally. Because overseas shipping varies so greatly please contact me for a shipping cost. I do my best to find the least expensive shipping options.

I am Mom to 5 grown skin kids and 10 grandchildren so far.

My husband and I met via the Internet and had a whirlwind romance which got me married and moving from Connecticut to Wisconsin all in the matter of 4 months. We are both avid model railroaders and have a layout in process in our basement.

We have 2 members with birthdays. They are the people behind the shops Mintage Home and Leibling. I also learned today that leibling means darling so happy birthday to you leiblings!

Dogmaw Glass on a Mini Monday

Today we are showing off the husband and wife team of the Etsy shop Dogmaw Glass. This couple creates a wide range of work including lampwork beads, paper goods and quilts.

The shopmonkeys of DogmawGlass toil in the internet mines by day to bring Satake Glass to the online lampworking community, but at night... ah, cool dark night... we get get to play with fire!

Alpha Shopmonkey Jo is a mathematician, beadmaker, jewelry maker, card maker, quilter... I think this makes her a craft junkie, a monkey she's not in any way interested in getting off her back. Which is fortunate, since she's already a shopmonkey, and getting yourself off your back is practically like sitting up, and nobody wants that.

An occasional contributor to the shop, Junior Shopmonkey Chris is the sort of man your mothers warned you about - no no, not that kind, the other kind.
Yeah... THAT kind.

They sure are busy in their South Carolina shop! Who knew shop monkeys could make such beautiful stuff? Want to know more? There is a blog to check out.
